Annual Membership DuesQualifications
Regular Dues$40.00 
Senior Dues$20.00Must be 66 or older.
Youth Dues$20.00No qualifying Regular or Senior Member in household. Must be under the age of 19 at the end of the dues year (Dec. 31), or under the age of 24 if a full-time student for at least five months of the year.
Family Dues$10.00Relationship - the sponsoring Regular or Senior member's spouse, child, stepchild (whether by blood or adoption), or foster child.
Residence - has the same principal residence as the sponsoring member for more than half the dues year. Full-time students under the age of 24 are exempted from the household residency requirement. A child must be under the age of 19 at the end of the dues year (Dec. 31), or under the age of 24 if a full-time student for at least five months of the year, or be permanently and totally disabled at any time during the year.
Support - did not provide more than one-half of his/her own support for the year.

New Members. Dues payments are not required or accepted with your Membership Application. As soon as your online Membership Application is accepted you will receive a Welcome Package and a Prorated Dues Invoice via email from the CAARA Clerk. Dues may be paid online or by check. Cash works, too, but we recommend you do that in person.

Club Net Operations

Sunday Evening 2 Meter Net (CAARAnet) at 9:00pm on 145.130MHz with a 107.2 PL tone.

This is an open and informal net that disseminates club news, A.R.R.L. Bulletins and traffic of interest to the ham radio community and prepares operators for emergency communications work. All are invited to check into the net as club membership is not a requirement.

The CAARA club net is also available and accessible via Echolink. W1GLO-R will connect you to our Cape Ann repeater on 145.130 MHz.

The 6PM Net W1GLO Gloucester 2-Meter Repeater, 145.130 -.6 MHz, PL 107.2 The friendliest regional net with nationwide and international participants.

Our net meets every Monday and Wednesday at 6PM for a round table discussion of a variety of fun and timely topics! Here you will find a variety of material including upcoming and previous topics we've covered: //sites.google.com/view/6pmnet.

We log our net using NetLogger, using the AIM chat feature of that program for sharing links etc. We welcome all HAM radio enthusiasts no matter where you are from or what level of experience you have! Please Join Us!
